BSI Compliant Small First Aid Kit - Modern Classic Case

  • BSI Compliant First Aid Kit - Small.

  • This kit with cover under 25 employees in a LOW risk environment (shops, offices, libraries etc.), & under 5 employees in a HIGH risk environment (most construction, working with chemicals, slaughterhouses etc.)

  • Supplied in a Modern Classic Case 22cm x 24cm x 8cm, complete with a Wall Mounting Bracket.

  • Despite many EU states having a national standard for workplace first aid kits, the UK did not. For over 14 years Lewis-Plast first aid kits have complied with the guidelines taken from the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations Approved Code of Practice 1997. However, on the 30th June 2011, a new British Standard came into effect.

  • The new BS 8599-1:2011 standard has been developed to meet evolving training protocols and provide a first aid solution that is mor relevant in a modern working environment.

  • The former British Healthcare Trade Association (BHTA) standards will be withdrawn from the 31st December 2011 and it is extected that the HSE will review its Code of Practice to recommend the new BSI standard kit contents as guidance for employers.

  • This kit is also available in a Showerproof Haversack (Code 4507AH) or a Lockable Cabinet (Code 4507AWC).
